Happy Valentines

So I totally missed valentines day by a mile. I had a picture ready to go and everything. But my laptop had massive amounts of Trojans viruses on it. Here we go with my posts that I was going to post this past week and the past weekend.

I totally heart my little boy. My little Dr. Love. He is totally better than any Dr. McSteamy or McDreamy.

We went to wally world, which is so out of the ordinary for us. Purchased the needed items, crayons, tacky double sided tape, construction paper, and kid friendly scissors. So we got home set everything down on the butcher block counter top, and directions we read outloud. Preset, melt, mold, and Happy Valentines you will have. Dad being the extraordinary father he is did the entire project with little to no help from addison or myself. I was busy being occupied by a nursing baby and a vaccum that was calling my name. We ended up with a very unique valentine for addison to take to her daycare. Heart Shaped Valentine.

Laughter is always present in our home. Especially when Ice Cream is involved. Addison has done marvelously potty traning. Everytime we go to the potty we cheer and we get ice cream. Yes I have to have ice cream I celebrate her victories too. So my little stink pot Taylor has like a mouth full of little white pointy things. He is the cutest!

Just Random

The hodges clan the 4 of us that is went to the circus this past weekend. The kids had an exciting time even though we loaded up on popcorn and that caught a quick nap at the end. I thought this was a cool picture I captured as the trapeze artist was twirling.
My daughter who is two and more than half way to 3 is totally fantastic. I totally brag on her daily if not hourly. She is the butter to my bread, literally if anyone knows add they know that she hearts some butter. The other day as we were getting ready to run out on an excursion she got in the shower, and politely asked "moma take a picture of me please". So of course I couldn't help but do that of my sweet little girl. As you see she has a duck in the shower, when we built our new house the first thing we decided on was an extra large shower. We have two showerheads and enough space for a caddy to back up in it. Its bad butty I tell ya.

When Reed and I got married he did say for better for worse as I do recall. The worse has got to be my cooking abilities. They are nonexist seriously I barely broil water. As he states to everyone I don't know what real food taste like its always burnt at my house. Now I do agree I perhaps to like well done everything, a little charred bread or crispy chicken never hurt nobody. I have large excuses for not knowing exactly how to cook, heck it runs in the family, my sister Melissa can cook very well, now the can opener and microwave is my sister michelle BFF. It like genes I just can't do it. But the pioneer woman is helping me, I am addicted to her website. It started two weeks ago....reading it makes me wanna homeschool, cook, and build something grand. But one thing at time nelly is what I say. So far I have cooked olive bread, which was very good, add enjoyed it...reed not so much as he don't favor olives like we do. Then night before last I made homemade onion rings, as you can see below I really did. They were awesome!!!! Tonight I am making flank steak.....it is currently marinating in the double fridge at home, recking of ginger. So we'll see.....hopefully the pioneer woman can make a good housewife outta me.

Its Winter time Mother Nature....hello we want some SNOW....my kids wanna go make snow angels. The other morning we had a slight dusting that was it. The view off our back porch. I worked for this pic as it was 7am, wind fiercly blowing, and me in my nightgown bad breath and all. Hope no one seen me.
