My sweet baby addison turned three today officially at 12:09 am. At that very moment we were at the family waiting area listening to Grandma teresa tell us the measurements of Baby Madelynn Meador, who had just arrived at 11:58am.....just shy of her Grandmas birthday and Addisons big day. Overjoyed cannot express the feelings we have today with addison turning three and big baby madelynn here. She is perfect all 9lbs 8oz of her.....she is gigantic.....defintely came out already half grown.

Big Day

Three years ago we started the day hoping and praying that Dr. Swisher would say okay todays the big day. The previous trips to Roanoke were not successful, even with the begging and crying to induce me already. I was 10 days overdue and each week actually the last two weeks of that dreadful wait to meet our addison I went twice a week. Finally he came in said I think todays gonna be the day. It was like I had won the lottery but even better. Come to find out actuall that wouldn't the day it would be the next day at 12:09 a.m. We meet our little girl we had waited an exceptional long time on, more than most.

Today Amber and Jonathan (reeds sister) made the long track to Roanoke from their Penhook home. With much hope they would welcome Madelynn Faith Meador to there family to our family. The voyage to Roanoke it somewhat short but yet long with anybody hoping to come back to the county with a carseat filled with baby in the backseat. We are currently waiting in the family holding area.

Ten on Tuesday Or Wednesday In April

Well I started this blog entry last night but somehow got side tracked with baths and laundry. Easy to do these days with all the things that are going on. So here we go.

1. Sunday is addison's birthday she will be the big huge three.

2. Reed tore his meniscus in his knee, two docs, and one MRI later we are going to UVA Medical Center to fix him up brand new on the 14th.

3. I cannot tell you HOW MUCH I adore my new fancy lense, it makes me feel like that herbal essences commerical you know the one where she is oh my goodnessing and oh la la'n in the shower.....I get the feeling everytime I snap a picture with it.

4. At this very moment my daughter is hiding in the closet behind margo's wedding dress waiting on the monster to find her.

5. I want a new new haircut, even though I just got one. My boss came into my office today sporting a brand new do, and it made the BIGGEST difference in her appearance. Now I want to visit her rock star hairdresser.

6. Sad that we only got a glimmer of snow this winter. I heart winter time, seeing my breath in the cold, going to bed early, dranking hot cocoa, I just love everything about it.

7. I am no domestic goodness by no means but my kenmore canister vac is the best item ever, I accidentally sucked a sock up in the hose, took it back to get it repaired, and it came back better than ever.

8. I am addicted to big love on HBO. I have been non stopping watching season dvds. I am up to season 2 disc 3

9. Strawberry season is just around the corner. The best thing about summer.

10. My husband came home the other day with a small little package wrapper in flowery paper.........he had purchased me a gift.....for no apparant reason.......it was a new watch......I had my current wrist holder downer for at least 10 years.....and I wear it everyday.....so imagine how horrible germy grimmy it was.

Here is my big two year old who is going to be the every so big THREE on sunday.

All About Little T

The blog lately has been all about little Taylor Baby. For one addison is running around like a mad girl and doesn't sit still for one second. Taylor at least is a little slower than her. He likes being around his moma, where add adores her Daddy right now. So yesterday I went to work, T went to the barber shop with his Daddy. Yea I decided at the last minute not to go, Reed wanted it to be his THANG with his little boy. He did okay, but he didn't get the lock of hair. MEN they just don't think of the sentimental things like women do. (he took this with his camera phone)

Next week

Usually in the evenings Reed and I have our downtime late in the night around 9:30 or so. Last night I was folding laundry while T was nursing(good multi tasker). Normally we would just talking about the days happenings and so on, what each other needed help with or had going on. But it was different last night, we reminisced about how last year at this time we were one week away from the birth of Taylor. How we didn't know what to expect with two kids. How in a year how our life has changed from a baby girl to a grown up 2 year old to a little boy who has made us see through a new light. We moved into a new house, gotten great use out of our Van, and have become great parents in the midst of it all. Taylors birthday party is this weekend at our house. I am preparing myself for a little crying fit right before everyone shows up and when we light his ONE candle. Okay gotta go now before I start choking up again.

Happy Valentines

So I totally missed valentines day by a mile. I had a picture ready to go and everything. But my laptop had massive amounts of Trojans viruses on it. Here we go with my posts that I was going to post this past week and the past weekend.

I totally heart my little boy. My little Dr. Love. He is totally better than any Dr. McSteamy or McDreamy.

We went to wally world, which is so out of the ordinary for us. Purchased the needed items, crayons, tacky double sided tape, construction paper, and kid friendly scissors. So we got home set everything down on the butcher block counter top, and directions we read outloud. Preset, melt, mold, and Happy Valentines you will have. Dad being the extraordinary father he is did the entire project with little to no help from addison or myself. I was busy being occupied by a nursing baby and a vaccum that was calling my name. We ended up with a very unique valentine for addison to take to her daycare. Heart Shaped Valentine.

Laughter is always present in our home. Especially when Ice Cream is involved. Addison has done marvelously potty traning. Everytime we go to the potty we cheer and we get ice cream. Yes I have to have ice cream I celebrate her victories too. So my little stink pot Taylor has like a mouth full of little white pointy things. He is the cutest!

Just Random

The hodges clan the 4 of us that is went to the circus this past weekend. The kids had an exciting time even though we loaded up on popcorn and that caught a quick nap at the end. I thought this was a cool picture I captured as the trapeze artist was twirling.
My daughter who is two and more than half way to 3 is totally fantastic. I totally brag on her daily if not hourly. She is the butter to my bread, literally if anyone knows add they know that she hearts some butter. The other day as we were getting ready to run out on an excursion she got in the shower, and politely asked "moma take a picture of me please". So of course I couldn't help but do that of my sweet little girl. As you see she has a duck in the shower, when we built our new house the first thing we decided on was an extra large shower. We have two showerheads and enough space for a caddy to back up in it. Its bad butty I tell ya.

When Reed and I got married he did say for better for worse as I do recall. The worse has got to be my cooking abilities. They are nonexist seriously I barely broil water. As he states to everyone I don't know what real food taste like its always burnt at my house. Now I do agree I perhaps to like well done everything, a little charred bread or crispy chicken never hurt nobody. I have large excuses for not knowing exactly how to cook, heck it runs in the family, my sister Melissa can cook very well, now the can opener and microwave is my sister michelle BFF. It like genes I just can't do it. But the pioneer woman is helping me, I am addicted to her website. It started two weeks ago....reading it makes me wanna homeschool, cook, and build something grand. But one thing at time nelly is what I say. So far I have cooked olive bread, which was very good, add enjoyed it...reed not so much as he don't favor olives like we do. Then night before last I made homemade onion rings, as you can see below I really did. They were awesome!!!! Tonight I am making flank steak.....it is currently marinating in the double fridge at home, recking of ginger. So we'll see.....hopefully the pioneer woman can make a good housewife outta me.

Its Winter time Mother Nature....hello we want some SNOW....my kids wanna go make snow angels. The other morning we had a slight dusting that was it. The view off our back porch. I worked for this pic as it was 7am, wind fiercly blowing, and me in my nightgown bad breath and all. Hope no one seen me.

Every Night

We've been so busy I hardly had time to breathe, much less soak in Christmas, New Years, and plan for two birthdays first and thirds of course. But now hopefully I can get back into the swing of things and blog everyday. Upcoming events include tons taken new photography classes, I will master photoshop CS3. I will read my entire Canon Rebel manual. I think I can I think I can. I have faith.

Every night I wait impatiently for my little Addy to find all her needed items for bedtime. Which include Milk, Not one Not Two, But THREE Pacifers...yes I am well aware she is 2 1/2 and has passy's but whatever. And Hippo has to be right beside of her. Hippo is a Ty beanie baby, that wear a pull up. She wasn't a child with a "luvie" until Hippo came along. Hippie and Addy veging out on the couch trying to awake.

Mr. Taylor Baby loves to do everything I do. So when I vaccumm he swiffers. Its cracks us up. He totally makes the biggest effort ever.

This was our christmas card picture. Meant to post this awhile back. But didnt get to it.
