Happy Valentines

So I totally missed valentines day by a mile. I had a picture ready to go and everything. But my laptop had massive amounts of Trojans viruses on it. Here we go with my posts that I was going to post this past week and the past weekend.

I totally heart my little boy. My little Dr. Love. He is totally better than any Dr. McSteamy or McDreamy.

We went to wally world, which is so out of the ordinary for us. Purchased the needed items, crayons, tacky double sided tape, construction paper, and kid friendly scissors. So we got home set everything down on the butcher block counter top, and directions we read outloud. Preset, melt, mold, and Happy Valentines you will have. Dad being the extraordinary father he is did the entire project with little to no help from addison or myself. I was busy being occupied by a nursing baby and a vaccum that was calling my name. We ended up with a very unique valentine for addison to take to her daycare. Heart Shaped Valentine.

Laughter is always present in our home. Especially when Ice Cream is involved. Addison has done marvelously potty traning. Everytime we go to the potty we cheer and we get ice cream. Yes I have to have ice cream I celebrate her victories too. So my little stink pot Taylor has like a mouth full of little white pointy things. He is the cutest!

Just Random

The hodges clan the 4 of us that is went to the circus this past weekend. The kids had an exciting time even though we loaded up on popcorn and that caught a quick nap at the end. I thought this was a cool picture I captured as the trapeze artist was twirling.
My daughter who is two and more than half way to 3 is totally fantastic. I totally brag on her daily if not hourly. She is the butter to my bread, literally if anyone knows add they know that she hearts some butter. The other day as we were getting ready to run out on an excursion she got in the shower, and politely asked "moma take a picture of me please". So of course I couldn't help but do that of my sweet little girl. As you see she has a duck in the shower, when we built our new house the first thing we decided on was an extra large shower. We have two showerheads and enough space for a caddy to back up in it. Its bad butty I tell ya.

When Reed and I got married he did say for better for worse as I do recall. The worse has got to be my cooking abilities. They are nonexist seriously I barely broil water. As he states to everyone I don't know what real food taste like its always burnt at my house. Now I do agree I perhaps to like well done everything, a little charred bread or crispy chicken never hurt nobody. I have large excuses for not knowing exactly how to cook, heck it runs in the family, my sister Melissa can cook very well, now the can opener and microwave is my sister michelle BFF. It like genes I just can't do it. But the pioneer woman is helping me, I am addicted to her website. It started two weeks ago....reading it makes me wanna homeschool, cook, and build something grand. But one thing at time nelly is what I say. So far I have cooked olive bread, which was very good, add enjoyed it...reed not so much as he don't favor olives like we do. Then night before last I made homemade onion rings, as you can see below I really did. They were awesome!!!! Tonight I am making flank steak.....it is currently marinating in the double fridge at home, recking of ginger. So we'll see.....hopefully the pioneer woman can make a good housewife outta me.

Its Winter time Mother Nature....hello we want some SNOW....my kids wanna go make snow angels. The other morning we had a slight dusting that was it. The view off our back porch. I worked for this pic as it was 7am, wind fiercly blowing, and me in my nightgown bad breath and all. Hope no one seen me.

Every Night

We've been so busy I hardly had time to breathe, much less soak in Christmas, New Years, and plan for two birthdays first and thirds of course. But now hopefully I can get back into the swing of things and blog everyday. Upcoming events include tons taken new photography classes, I will master photoshop CS3. I will read my entire Canon Rebel manual. I think I can I think I can. I have faith.

Every night I wait impatiently for my little Addy to find all her needed items for bedtime. Which include Milk, Not one Not Two, But THREE Pacifers...yes I am well aware she is 2 1/2 and has passy's but whatever. And Hippo has to be right beside of her. Hippo is a Ty beanie baby, that wear a pull up. She wasn't a child with a "luvie" until Hippo came along. Hippie and Addy veging out on the couch trying to awake.

Mr. Taylor Baby loves to do everything I do. So when I vaccumm he swiffers. Its cracks us up. He totally makes the biggest effort ever.

This was our christmas card picture. Meant to post this awhile back. But didnt get to it.

Loves Him Not

After all the rain Saturday this was the view from our back porch.

That same evening Reed killed a deer, as you can see he is extrememly happy. That big smile is quite rare, in pictures he usually gives the one lipped elvis thing.

My little baby boy was so peaceful the other morning, so I had to snap his little picture.

Add is the best big sister sometimes. In this picture she is trying to teach him to crawl.

Tagged For You

Now I must relay to my family & friends this random information about myself. Feel free to sit back, relax and judge me.

Four things I did today…
1. Drove 1 hr to get to work (my moms, daycare, and then Community)
2. Wrote a 400 word essay about Contemporary Literary Criticisms.
3. Called david and compelled him to feel bad for me because I had a headache.
4. Listened to Keith Urbans New Song "Sweet Thing"

Four things on my to do list…
1. Buy me some smaller pants
2. Fix my lunch...instead of going out for the 15th day in row to eat lunch out.
3. go to target get add a red dress for pics tomorrow @ school
4. Actually clean out one box in my garage

Four of my guiltiest pleasures…
1. Eating all sweets (literally ALL)
2. Buying the kiddos clothes (gymborre is such a easy way to spend my paycheck plus more)
3. Sleeping in. There are few things I like to do more in life than sleep. Words cannot describe how much I love to sleep especially when my little boy is laying beside me.
4. Gossips magazines, PerezHilton

Four random facts about me…
1. I bite my nails. Always have. Ask my mother.
2. My car is horribly gross, like coffee cups, old food crumbs, seriously embrassing
3. I am currently carrying two purses because I am to lazy to clean out the other one.
4. I invent words all the time and when used in proper context the listener usually knows exactly what I mean although they hate to admit it. ahem. natasha

Ten On Tuesday

1. Baby Taylor can say one word....."MaMa" Yes "MaMa". Its amazing a small 4 letter word can make a heart melt so quickly.

2. We moved, its official we are now at 2049 Sontag Road.

3. Since our move we haven't gotten internet except but in one room. At work I moved to a different office so its a little diffcult to navigate the internet while being paid to work with three other individuals in the office with you. So I have not been able to check my blogs I would usually check daily super sad. Amys & Lindsay & Another Amy So much to do little time

4. I have been able to update my blog since halloween. My little kiddos were the cutest. We trick or treated three places, Aunt Autys, Grandama Teresa's, and Aunt Lisas. Add was a little cheerleader while Taylor was a T-Rex. Add was not a happy camper until she got hand out candy at Aunt Lisa's.

5. I have been given a great oppurtunity Dr. McCreedy professor at Ferrum College has graciously pinned me to be his mentor. I am super elated, excited, amazed, and just feeling the best that I am able to learn so much from his grand photography skills. I have so much to learn and I am glad I am getting started on the right foot. Hopefully this will jump start something!

6. My blue eyed baby nephew Avery turned the big 4 on November 1st, he is seriously the most handsomest little baby their every was. He is the sweetest little booger.

7. Reed & I are somewhat OCD. Our little girl is truly OCD. This was the other night.

8. My little boy has 4 teeth. Nursing him is truly ouchie!

9. Addison started day care last Wednesday. My whole body shakes as I carry her in every morning for the past 8 days. She has cried for the last 3 days, which makes me wanna pick her up and run away. I would like to sit in the classroom all day long, make the other children be her friend. Just makes me sad!!!

10. Everyday Addy says a new phase that is sooooooooooooooooo cuttttttttttttttttteeeeeeeeee.
